For those of you on a limited budget who are looking to substantially improve the performance of your motorcycle we have exactly what you need. Mid-State Cycles sells 2 versions of their own bolt-in camshafts. These cams were designed in-house to improve the performance of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The first version (the M-S 500) was developed in 1995 to work with the H-D Evolution motor. The second version (the M-S 502) was developed late in 1999 to work with the H-D Twin Cam motor. These cams have a strong power band and deliver the best bang for the buck. As proof of this we have already sold over 100 of these cams to official Harley dealers who have in-house dynos. The cams are exclusively manufactured for us by Andrews Products Inc. and are only available through our shop. Baker Drivetrain - Big Attitude Chain Adjuster
|
The Baker Drivetrain Big Attitude Chain Adjuster solves the issues associated with the stock auto chain tensioner on 2006-Later Dyna & 2007-Later Softail/Touring models. By design, automatic chain tensioners ratchet your primary chain up to the next notch the moment there is enough slack, thus tightening your chain. However you have no control over when it stops tightening. The end result is the primary chain is so tight that it will start wearing out left side motor case bearings, inner primary bearings, clutch hub bearings, and transmission output gear bearings. This manual chain tensioner allows you to adjust the chain to the proper 5/8 - 7/8" (cold) freeplay, and never have to worry about the chain getting too tight.

These chrome handlebar control kits are designed to work with the factory wiring and switches on 1996 thru 2008 H-D models. In addition, this chrome control kit will give your bike a smooth and clean look for nearly half the price of other chrome control housings sold by Harley-Davidson. These control housings retail for about $260.00 and can be purchased and installed at our shop. Do not be fooled by similar looking inferior parts found in some mail-order catalogs, these are the only chrome controls we recommend using instead of those sold by Harley-Davidson.

S&S Single-Bore Tuned Intake
|
After extensive research and testing including the latest in computer modeling, a custom inlet port shape was created by S&S that increased power and torque across the charts. The rear-wheel power and torque curves shown below prove this. The stock air box on a 2006 H-D Dyna motorcycle was replaced with the new S&S Single Bore Tuned Intake allowing a gain of approximately 9 horsepower and 9 ft-lbs of torque. The Single-Bore Tuned Intake is available in chrome, wrinkle black powder coat, or natural aluminum finishes (red filters are standard). This new intake is compatible with the S&S Single-Bore Throttle Body system, stock H-D carbs, S&S carbs, and Delphi® fuel injection systems. Mounting brackets are available in several configurations to fit a variety of engines and are designed to fit as close as possible to the cylinder heads, thereby improving fit and rider leg room. Overall this component provides increased power, torque and functional form with an excellent aesthetic quality. These S&S Crankcase Breathers are non-moving and feature reeds that open and close as needed. They are easy on gaskets and eliminate high RPM oil carry-over. Our service department has been using these parts and has had very good luck with them. We now keep these parts in stock and they retail for under $100.00 each.
