Since 1976 Mid-State Cycles has specialized in selling, servicing, customizing and repairing Harley-Davidson motorcycles. In addition to working on H-D motorcycles, we have a reputation for building some of the finest custom motorcycles in the midwest. Bob Cleary (pictured left) is the owner of Mid-State Cycles. Bob became a registered Illinois motorcycle dealer in 1976 with his shop in Paxton, Illinois. Late in 1979 he moved the business to Champaign, Illinois. Throughout the 1980's and early 1990's Bob ran the business while drag-racing gas and then top-fuel Harley Davidson motorcycles. Bob has been riding and working on motorcycles for over 45 years now and continues to maintain a hands-on role in running the business as well as working on the motorcycles.
